One of my favourite views on the way home through rural countryside is a stretch of farmland leading down to the Waitemata Harbour beyond; my starting point for creating 'Almost Home'. I love the layers and contrasts between textures, tones, land and sea on a bright, Summers day.
Apply easy-to-learn embroidery techniques to my limited edition, hand-painted coastal linen landscape with richly textured, beautiful results.

Each linen background is individually painted in my studio, so variations of colour and detail are expected.
While I have created the background landscape for you to stitch on to, the nature of freehand stitch allows plenty of room for personal expression and creativity.
All materials to complete the finished piece are included (NB this does not include the stretching board or framing).
